Buick Building

Project Description

Rogers & Willard proudly led the restoration of the historic Turner-Todd Motor Company Building—better known as the Buick Building—in downtown Mobile. Originally built in 1926 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the two-story brick structure has been thoughtfully transformed for modern use while honoring its automotive roots.

Acquired by Rogers & Willard in 2014, the building underwent an extensive renovation that preserved key historic features like the concrete car ramp, exposed wood framing, and second-story timber floors. Completed in 2015, the project is now a leading example of adaptive reuse, blending 20th-century charm with 21st-century functionality. The Buick Building stands as a symbol of Mobile’s rich history and ongoing revitalization.
