Mike Rogers Moderates South Alabama Panel at Auburn University’s 2024 CityBuilders Conference

Rogers & Willard President Mike Rogers served as moderator for the Southern Alabama panel at Auburn University’s 2025 CityBuilders Conference, held at Regions Field in Birmingham, Alabama. Hosted by Auburn’s Institute for Real Estate Development (IRED), the annual event brought together over 325 attendees and over 30 industry leaders to discuss the future of commercial real estate across Alabama 

Mike moderated the South Alabama panel, where he shared insights on major developments reshaping our region, including:

• The $4.1 billion Novelis plant in Baldwin County

• The planned downtown Mobile airport relocation

• A new Youth City Center project expected to spur $300–$500 million in development

• Continued expansion of the Port of Mobile and future infrastructure projects like the long-anticipated bridge
