Mike Rogers and Rogers & Willard Help Rewrite Mobile’s Story

Mobile, AL – July 2025 — Mike Rogers and his team at Rogers & Willard are playing a key role in transforming the narrative of downtown Mobile—from underutilized potential to a vibrant, growing city center.

As highlighted in Business Alabama, Rogers’ work blends preservation and progress. From restoring the long-vacant Buick Building, to leading projects like the Dave Patton House and Chighizola House, the firm is breathing new life into Mobile’s historic structures and districts.

These efforts have helped turn St. Louis Street into a hub of innovation and local business. Paired with initiatives like the city’s $16 million streetscape investment, the momentum is clear: Mobile is evolving, and Rogers & Willard is helping lead the charge.

Under Rogers’ leadership, the firm has nearly doubled its revenue and expanded its leadership team to include Bill Davis, Manson Brooks, and Julie Beall. Rogers also co-founded Porchlight, a nonprofit focused on revitalizing blighted neighborhoods with sustainable housing.

"Now young people are moving back," Rogers told Business Alabama. "We've got a long way to go, but I feel like we're doing well. It’s been fun to be part of that."
