Hollywood may be able to re-create the Golden Era, but they’ve got nothing on us. A homeowner asked us to help create a custom home resembling an original historic 1920s home. Between our knowledge of local architecture and extensive research, we made recommendations on proper materials and processes. Eleven months later, the owner had a 5,000 s.f. main house and 1,200 s.f. guest house that more than exceeded his vision.

We may not be fluent in Spanish, but we are in Spanish Revival architecture of the 1920s. This was once a well-known motif in the neighborhood and our task was to re-create it with this wonderful home. Great attention was focused on the details that make this style unique, including plaster walls, terracotta floors, ironwork and reclaimed Spanish roof tile. The result was 4,000 s.f. of pure belleza.

We weren’t just asked to renovate a 3,700 s.f. historic Mobile home, we were challenged with adding a new addition that would seamlessly fit with the Spanish Revival style. This project included creatively updating wiring, plumbing and air conditioning with the latest technology in an unobtrusive way. Old meets the new.
